A large group of Cajun workers who helped build the Vesta Colony and decided to remain on Vesta rather than return to Earth are given religious recognition and found the Church of the Hollow Flame.

As a sign of good faith to the disparate citizen now under their mandate, the UT creates a citizen committee to hold politicians to account.


As they continue their mandate of unity, the UT Gov. invites all of the producers of rocket fuel across the various megacorporations to join a single, global workers union.

Earth Levies heavy tariffs on goods coming from Mars and Martian owned stations within the Asteroid Belt in an attempt to recoup from their financial collapse a decade earlier. As a result the Martians form an independent government and begin plans to secede from, Terra's control.

Belters formerly employed by those corps wanting to profit from the discord come together to found a group of contract killers.

Mekhdiev is founded on Mars by Luan Expatriates. While not officially associated with the Martian Government, Mekhdiev did solely supply them during the Terra-Martian War.

The Terra-Martian War begins.

With no resources coming in during the war, most of the large stations in the belt declare independence from their Governmental or Corporate Owners, only a few corporations that are not involved in the war retake their stations, the rest of the stations and citizens are simply written off as “casualties” of war.

Earth

With a war now brewing, and with the Belt's resources cut off to them, the United Terran Government begins to ramp up manufacturing and mining on Terra propper. The rampant ecological destruction pushes a large number of people to unite in protest to the UT's actions and some of the more radical sects, like those of The Green Flame Movement, go so far as to threaten many of the most environmentally harmful MegaCorporations.

Lua threatens to side with Mars if Earth does not grant them de jure sovereignty. After sending the demand to the UT, governors from each of the domes meet in Copernicus and ratify a Luan constitution, forming the Luan Parliament.


Luan Citizens, emboldened by the formation of a parliament, take up arms and foment rebellion against the overreach of the United Terran Government.
